your grace is enough

i was watching 7:22 tonight...and there was this one thing that the worship leader...not steve fee...another worship leader...and he said one thing....he said, "Regardless of how you came in this room, through this door, we were all born in a messed-up state, and we have a great God who gave His awesome son Jesus to be the payment for our mess, not just the kind of remedy the situation a little bit, but to give us life that is forever and eternal. If you're here tonight with this burden and you think you can't measure up to God, you can, because He gave us a way through His son and He took our punishment. And that's what we're about."

That made me realize something for fellowship, for church. That at the end of the week, it doesn't matter how you come into church, into fellowship, we were all in the same state. We go hungry for His love, a night with His people to worship Him. When we go into church and worship, we become one. Differences don't matter anymore because we have one thing in common, each of us was saved.

Believing that Jesus died, that's history.
Believing that Jesus died for you, that's salvation.

Father, Your Grace is Enough
